Ogoni Royal Father Felicitates Prof. Zabbey On Appointment

An Ogoni royal father has described the appointment of an Ogoni born Prof. Nanibarini Zabbey as the substantive Project Co-ordinator of the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project, HYPREP, as putting a round peg in a round hole.
The monarch, Royal Chief Amb. Magnus Lezor Edoo, made the statement in a congratulatory letter signed by himself and made available to journalists, Wednesday, May 3rd,.
He said the appointment by President Mohammad Buhari is well deserved and expressed optimism that he would make the people proud.
The congratulatory letter reads; “On behalf of my family and the hospitable people of Dee-eewa village in Kwawa community of Khana Local Government Area, Rivers State, I heartily felicitate with Prof. Nanibarini Zabbey, his immediate family, the people of Ogoni and his well wishers on his appointment as the new substantive Project Coordinator of the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP) by President Mohammadu Buhari, GCFR and president, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Royal Chief Amb. Edoo, who is the paramount ruler VII, of Dee-Eewa village in Kwawa community, Khana local government area of Rivers State, assured the HYPREP Co-ordinator of their readiness to work with, prayed that God Almighty grants him the wisdom and strength to deliver on the tasks bestowed upon him.
“It is our prayer that God grants him the wisdom and strength to deliver on the tasks this new elevation brings while we assure him of our readiness to working with him in ensuring a peaceful environment for a successful tenure,” it stated.
