The Rivers State chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), High Chief Emeka Beke, has described the Ahoada East Local Government Chairman of the party, Chief Hon Salvation Ezegwogwo as a man of divine grace who has capacity to win elections.

He made this known in Port Harcourt,on Friday, April 2nd, during a birthday party put together by members of APC Like-Minds, Ahoada East in honour of Hon Salvation Ezegwogwo.

Hon Beke, who recalled his encounter with the celebrant, said that his emergence as the chairman of Ahoada East is divine, saying he only got to know him through his leader, the Minister for Transportion Rt Hon Chibuike Amaechi who informed him that he wants Ezegwogwo to be his LGA chairman because he has capacity.

His words “Let me tell Bonge something, your emergence as the chairman of your Local Government is divine, have never met you all through my life.

“When I met you was the day my leader, the man that brought light upon me, Rt Hon Chibuike Amaechi touched me and said, I want to make him a chairman. That is how he became chairman”

He assured the Ahoada East party chairman of his support for him, adding that the forthcoming election is just like a litmus test for him, so he should go and win because he believes in him so much.

According to the APC stalwart, the only thing that will make them to continue to celebrate together like this is for them to win elections, noting that if they don’t win they will not celebrate.

“If you know you believe in us go to your locality, mobilize and win election, that is the only way we can come back and celebrate Bonge in 2023. That is the only way I will come back as chairman and speak to you and all will listen”.

He congratulated the celebrant, wishing him blessings, open doors and God’s continuous protection and good health.

In his speech, the celebrant, Chief Hon Salvation Ezegwogwo thanked the State APC chairman for gracing the occasion, assuring him that in Ahoada East LGA they will deliver to make the chairman proud.

Ezegwogwo, who also thanked his colleagues that came to celebrate with him, assured the state party chairman
that him and his colleagues will work together so that he will have no stress.

He appreciated the organisers of the event for the magnificent show of love to him and prayed that God will surely bless and reward them accordingly.

”I want to appreciate from the depth of my heart those that put together this great event in less than no time, you guys are wonderful.

“I want to appreciate APC members of Ahoada East LGA, the truth remains that the day of reconning shall come sooner or later, we shall get results”, he said.

Earlier in his remarks, Chairman of Ahoada East APC Like-Minds, who is also the Admin Secretary to the APC Ahoada East LGA chairman, Hon. Prince Noble said they decided to organize the party because of their love for the celebrant.

Noble described Hon Ezegwogwo as a bridge builder that has the capacity to take Ahoada East APC to the next level, adding that the day he became the chairman, that was the day the party in the LGA had a lease of life.

In his words: “Today we have a party that we can call APC in Ahoada East, because he is on ground. We can boast of winning elections because of Salvation Ezegwogwo”.

He further revealed that, with the emergence of the celebrant, some persons that left the party have started returning, while others yet to come are willing.

He pleaded with the State party chairman to always listen and give Ezegwogwo whatever he asks of him, hinting that the Local Government do not have any intra party crisis, since all caucuses have agreed to work harmoniously.
