The Nigerian youth population is significantly a large proportion of Nigeria demography. Youth are the greatest capital of any society and the engine of national development of any nation, they serve as two edge-sword of recipe for disaster or potential for development.

The Nigerian Youth must stand firm and close the doors against any leader who wants to use them as canon fodders from various political activities such as political thuggery/gangsterism and violence in order to satisfy their gluttonous appetite and to sustain their grip to the political throne.

Most of the Nigerian youth become helpless, mentally deranged, desperate and hopeless. They use dangerous psychotropic drugs in order to behave in a very bad manner that leads them to various criminal activities in the country and beyond.

The Nigerian youth should not use the ample political season as opportunity to cause a lot of tension now that nation is totally in neurotic ethnic and religious crisis, which has now become the order of the day.

The Nigerian Youth should know that they have electorally consequential value than any segment in Nigeria, they are always in the passengers seat and they cannot take over the driver’s seat of Nigeria political vehicle because their habit is likened to alcoholic rodents and uncivilized animals in their political activities. Their get- rich -quick mentality makes them susceptible to the manipulation of the moneybag politicians. Therefore, the inconsequential political jejune of no value used them in every political ritual as article of no commercial value.

Nigerian youth should look behind them for even the sheep in its wandering still remembers to cast backward glance. None of the politicians can involve his son or family in violence.

My advice to Nigerian youth is that they should joggle their memory very well. Recently Gabriel Boric, a 35 year old youth was elected as the President of Chile. The youth should borrow a leaf from this young man.
