Massive Investment in Ekpeye Land Will Curb Youth Restiveness – Monarch

The highest employer of labour in Ekpeye land, His Royal Highness, Nye Udu Kelvin Anugwo, Nye Udu Ede Upata l, has beaconed on Ekpeye sons and daughters within the business circle to return home to invest or attract Investment to the land.
Nye Udu Ede Upata made the call in his office at Ahoada while interacting with newshounds on the occasion of Nigeria’s 60th independence anniversary and Ekpeye Yam Festival.
While decrying the level of underdevelopment in Ekpeye Kingdom, he noted that only genuine efforts of the elite will trigger the needed development that will position the ethnic nation in its proper place.
Anugwo opined that the issue of insecurity or youth restiveness would have been curbed if the youths had been properly engaged.
The Royal father urged the youths to be more productive for themselves than constituting nuisance for themselves and the public, adding that negativity has never helped anybody in life.
He charged them to shun acts of willful vandalism, kidnapping, armed robbery and other social vices and rather, toe the path of hard work laced in the fear of God.
He charged the youths to use their God given talents for positive ventures rather than causing embarrassments and impugning on people’s hard earned integrity.
Continuing, the Nye Udu Ede Upata said, “God has not disappointed anybody that genuinely worked with integrity, honesty and commitment.”
He appreciated the efforts of his Principal, His Majesty, Nye Udu Felix Otuwarikpo, Nye Udu Upata kingdom and the Regent, Eze Ekpeye Logbo throne on his many efforts to lift Upata kingdom up developmentally.
He urged the people to create the enabling environment for them to reap what the king has sowed through supporting his programmes, ideals and peaceful co-habition.
The Royal Father reminded the people that the period of Ekpeye New Yam Festival celebration is sacred, that it ought to be observed without any form of acrimony, hatred and strife.
