The otherwise serene community of Ihuowo in Ahoada East local government area of Rivers State was agog as Mrs Ann Peter Eke and her family thanked the Almighty God for His mercies and faithfulness.
The Holy Spirit filled event which coincided with the annual adult harvest of Amazing Grace Baptist Church was attended by her colleagues and political friends from within the LGA.
Explaining her reasons for the thanksgiving, the Chief Thanksgiver, Ann Eke hinted that God answered a private prayer she made while being challenged by the world and also, that God has kept her and children in the face of seeming consumable difficulties, amongst other unprintable situations.
She urged all to always look up to God whether in good times or otherwise, stressing that He alone has solutions and powers to overcome and triumphantly subdue the devil.
She further thanked the ministers and church members for their untiring prayers.
One of the guest who spoke to BochNews, Hon. Prince Noble, said they were there to join their party member in thanking God for His faithfulness in her life.
He described Ann Eke as someone who is committed to whatever cause she accepts to key into, hence he is not surprised for God’s transformation in her life, according to him.
Another, Mrs Upadhi Nnamdi thanked God for what He has done in her mummy’s family.
She enjoined Ann Eke not to relent in holding on to God and always believing in His immeasurable abilities.
The event was graced by some APC chieftains, like Hon Prince Noble, Admin Secretary, Hon Washington Major, member of State campaign council, Comr. Honest Benson, fmr Aspirant for RSHA constituency I and Hon Eze Utula.
Others were; Mrs Upadhi Nnamdi, a party stalwart, Mrs Felicia Chidiebere, Non Indigenes Woman Leader, Levi Bartholomew, LGA chairman’s media team member and Comrade Chisa.
Bro. Benim Patrick, Akoh/Ward 11 Chairman, Bro Ake, Hon Oyagiri Chime-emele, CEO BochNews/Boch Tv Online and others too numerous to mention.
