Monarch Tasks NIPR To Uphold Professional Ethics

The Regent to the stool of Eze Ekpeye Logbo, His Majesty, Felix Enene Otuwarikpo, had called on the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) to uphold the ethics of the profession in order to contribute its quota to national development.
The king made the call during the official unveiling of the Institute’s magazine which was held at the NIPR’s secretariat located at the Police Officers Wives Association complex in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The monarch, who was represented by His Royal Highness, Eze Ikaki Sobere Ikaki, lauded the commitment of the Institute to rebrand Nigeria’s image, adding that NIPR should also explore ways to engender good governance in the country.
The Ekpeye king also advised Public Relations practitioners to shun propaganda and other practises that are at variance with the ethics of the profession.
The monarch, who is a fellow of the Institute commended the Institute for the successful launch of the PR Voice Magazine and expressed his commitment to maintain the relationship existing between the Ekpeye Nation and the NIPR.
Other royal fathers who attended the occasion include, HRH Eze Denis Ololube, Eze Ihu Akoh and Chief Pedro Alali.
