Igbu Orlukwor Monarch Cautions Youths Against Recalcitrance, Disrespectful Living . . . Reiterates Stance On Zero Tolerance For Insecurity

The monarch of Igbu Orlukwor O’ Group Kingdom of Ekpeye Ethnic Nationality in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State, His Royal Highness, Eze Ike Ehie JP, Igbu Orlukwor II, Eze Ehie II has cautioned the youths of his kingdom against disrespect to elders,
and constituted authorities.

Eze Ehie gave the warning during a meeting with the kingdom’s youth executives and TaskForce members, charging them to live a worthy of emulation by younger ones.

He noted that development can only be attracted to Igbu Orlukwor if it is peaceful, calm and conducive for businesses to strive, adding that no man invests in areas where his investment would be jeopardized due to insecurity and crisis.

The royal father urged the youths to be united and always act in ways other kingdoms would be envious of, through commitment, loyalty and deliberate efforts to position the kingdom above its contemporaries.

Eze Ehie appealed for continuous understanding and patience by the youths and assured them that the narrative will change in the next two years of his reign.

He charged the leadership to reposition the body for optimal results, adding that an elected executive will be put in place before the end of the year.

In his response, the acting Vice President of Igbu Orlukwor Youth Council, Comrade Fidelis Ikegah, thanked the king for making out time in his tight schedule to invite the youths.

He assured him of their maximum cooperation and pledged on behalf of the youths to be lawful, responsible and committed in working towards building the kingdom to greatness.

In his speech, the Taskforce chairman, Comrade Victor Gogo-Ejima pledged to always consult before embarking on assignments and to always protect and defend the interest of the kingdom at all times.

Earlier, the chairman of Igbu Orlukwor Traditional Rulers and Chiefs Council, High Chief Mathias Ogbugo advised the youths to be up and doing in projecting, protecting and defending the collective interest of the kingdom.

This is the maiden meeting held by the royal father with any group since his coronation on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
