by Pearl HaroldThe Federal Lawmaker representing Abua/Odual and Ahoada East Federal Constituency of Rivers State, Hon Solomon Bob, has empowered some of his constituents with deep freezers and power generating sets.
Hon Bob said the gift was a fulfillment of his campaign promise to members of Suleiman Foundation, who worked tirelessly for his electoral victory.
The federal lawmaker made the disclosure at the Ahoada East Local Government Area Council chairman’s lodge, Monday, April 1, while handing over the gifts to beneficiaries of the foundation.
He charged them to make judicious use of the items and not to resell nor lease out.
The lawmaker promised to do more to those who worked assiduously, hinting that he had given two persons jobs in federal ministries and another, a scholarship in the second tenure.
While speaking at the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, first quarter meeting, Bob condemned those who had benefitted from FCT Minister, His Excellency, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike’s benevolence, but are currently denigrating him .
He urged party members to remain loyal, submissive and obedient to party leaders irrespective of the circumstances, describing as worst when someone bites the finger that fed him.

He described most people calling the Minister names as lacking in character and integrity to lead people decently, warning that he would expose their true identity if they continue to insult his Principal.
Responding on behalf of other recipients of Hon Solomon Bob’s empowerment, Mrs Amarachi Felix thanked the donor for fulfilling his promises.
Amarachi, who was very excited like other recipients said; “This is the first time I am benefitting from politics. I thank Hon Solomon Bob for promise fulfilled.
“He promised us, Suleiman Foundation that he will not forget us in his victory due to how we worked for him. And, he has fulfilled it today.
“I advise other politicians to keep to their promises during campaigns so that people would not see politics as a game of liars and wicked people.”
