EKPEYE INSECURITY: Eze Ikegbidi Thanks Gov. Fubara For Lifting His Suspension . . . Warns Youths Against Criminal Tendencies

The Natural Ruler of Igbu Akoh Ancient Kingdom, His Majesty, Eze (Hon) Cassidy Okpara Webber Ikegbidi JP, AP, Eze Igbu-Akoh II has thanked River State Governor, His Excellency, Sir Siminalaye Fubara, for his kind gesture in lifting the suspension placed on him over an allegation of complicity in the gruesome murder of Police Superintendent Bako Amgbashim.

It would be recalled that the said senior Police officer was murdered and body parts dismembered and showed on viral video clip on September 8, 2023, by one Gift Okpara David (alias 2Baba) and his cult gang.

Eze Ikegbidi, while speaking with newsmen in his Port Harcourt residence when the news of the lifting of his suspension hit the airwaves, expressed his deep and profound gratitude to the Governor for the gesture.

A statement by his media aide, Comrade Cassius Nwikoro, said the monarch has pledged his total support and commitment and that of the well meaning people of Igbu Akoh Kingdom to the Governor Siminalaye Fubara’s led administration in promoting peace and development in the land.

The monarch also in the statement commended the Nigeria Police Force for the proactiveness deployed in addressing the insecurity situation in the state, especially Igbu Akoh kingdom of Ekpeye Ethnic Nationality.

He acknowledged the professional acumen deployed by the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun and the State commissioner of police, Disu Olatunji in their relentless efforts in ensuring that justice was eventually served on the culprits.

The Natural Ruler urged the Nigerian Police to remain relentless in strengthening its security apparatus to bring lasting peace in Ekpeye land, particularly in Igbu-Akoh Kingdom.

He warned the youths to desist from evil tendencies as no individual or community can thrive in an atmosphere of evil but should engage themselves in meaningful ventures.

Eze Igbu Akoh II also thanked his people for their steadfastness and unwavering spirit in praying for peace during the trying period and advised them to always report any suspicious movement to the Security Agencies.
