I, on behalf of myself, family and teeming supporters, Congratulates You, the Executive Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Prince Bassey Otu, on your resounding success at the Supreme Court.
This victory has proven that Cross Riverines actually elected you as their governor. The successful outcome of the judgement will get you concentrated on your action plans for the development State .
Sir, to successfully imprint your name on the state’s ‘Guinness Book of Records’, your policies, programmes and projects should not be tailored to compete with anyone or to impress sycophants who will never tell you the truth.
I pray you carry out projects and programmes that would have direct impact on the people, no matter how small such projects might be, considering the lean resources accruing to the state.
Your Excellency, it would be face-saving to look at the areas that would be of greatest comparative advantage to the people and site such Projects, to avoid waste.
Sir, avoidance of white elephant projects would be another way to retain and continue to keep the people on your side.
Be faithful in your policies and be smart in dealing with people you entrust with the implementation of projects. Remember, sacred cows are the people who frustrate good intentions, so, do not tolerate them as your failure might be their happiness.
Pay full attention to the cities of Calabar, lkom, Ogoja and ugep which are already on the springboard for development. Calabar should return to its original status as the cleanest and beautiful city in Nigeria.
Your Excellency, once again, I wish you resounding and marketable success in your drive to
make the people of Cross River State happy again.
