BAYELSA GUBER: Suoyo Appah, Thousands of Supporters Defect To APC

As the Governorship Election in Bayelsa State draws nearer, the camp of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Timipre Sylva received a boost, as the immediate past Executive Assistant to the Bayelsa Governor on National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Suoyo Appah joins APC.

In what seems to be a carnival like event at the Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Headquarter, Kaiama recently, Suoyo Appah and thousands of his supporters were received by Chief Timipre Sylva.

Sylva, while receiving Suoyo and thousands of decampees, assured them that he is committed to his agenda for the people of the state, ranging from employment of teeming youths and the revamp of the agricultural sector for food production amongst others.

The governorship hopeful also promised not to disappoint Bayelsians if elected, adding that the development of Boro Town for a major tourists attraction which will in turn bring prosperity for all Bayelsans as part of many good things he would bring to fore.

Suoyo, who was also the candidate for Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency 2 in the last state Assembly elections with his supporters were further assured by Sylva that APC is a big party that does not discriminate, hence, they will be carried along.

Suoyo Appah on his part explained that the reason for choosing the All Progressives Congress is because of Chief Timipre Sylva’s penchant for creating sustainable economic opportunities for young people in the state, including human capital development.

The university don promised to work assiduously for the emergence of Chief Timipre Sylva as the next Governor of Bayelsa State by mobilizing the people of KOLGA to look the way of the APC on Election Day.
