A Bayelsa based cleric, Prophet Zige Izonbarakumo, advised Christians in the country to step out of their comfort, rather than to be contented in their present circumstances.

The Prophet who is the General Overseer of Corresponding Grace Ministry International (CGM), Yenagoa, gave the advice on Sunday, July 10th.

Izonbarakumo explained that the attitude of contentment arises as a result of the prayerless life of most Christians, who feel that God was done with them.
He added that God is commanding His children not to get tired of praying.

He challenged Christians to overhaul their carnal belief by knowing that God is same yesterday, today and forever, meaning that He remains a situation changing God.

The ‘talk and do’ Prophet reminded Christians that prayer is the key to becoming a conqueror in Christ as it can compel the Comforter to confront one’s enemies.

In his words: “Many Christians today are contented in where they are. They are so relaxed, believing God to change things. They feel okay with what they are.

“Some believe that God is not able to bring them out of their situations. They stopped praying, feeling that God is done with them.”

The Divine Field Marshall informed the people that; “Today, God is saying, do not get tired. Your situation is changeable. That He is a God of possibilities.”

The General Overseer, who finalized his message with a soothing advise that; “As Christians, we need to step out of our comfort zones”, quoted the Bible book of St. John 14:16.

Highlights of the service were; prophecies, special anointing, testimonies, etc.
