Your Capacity Will Earn You Recognition, Ahoada East APC Tells Party Faithfuls

Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ahoada East Local Government Area, Rivers State, has declared that recognition would be given to only members who will work for the growth of the party.
Ezegwogwo, who made the declaration at Edeoha Town, headquarters of Ward 5, Friday, December 10th during a visit, added that the days party members are recognized based on registration are over.
He urged party faithfuls to show more commitment and enthusiasm in working for the party’s growth than to waste their time in ventures that would cause disunity and disharmony amongst members.
The LGA Party Chairman opined that continuous infighting will only attract distraction that may rob the party of the deserved victory, which according to him; “Will never be allowed or entertained.”
His words: “The party is one in the LGA. Disagreement in procedure and style may arise and is natural. But all critical stakeholders have mutually agreed to work for the growth and advancement of the party.
While receiving decampees, Hon Ezegwogwo assured them that all immunities that cover members of the APC family will also be extended to them.
He charged the new entrants to work as every member of the party would, and reminded them that gossiping, name-dropping are not welcomed.
“Come 2023, APC will win from the federal elections to local council. And our representatives will be held accountable, so that dividends of democracy will get to the people accordingly,” he assured.
He assured party members that APC will win Brick House come 2023, adding that every representative of the people in the LGA will be accountable when elected or be recalled.
Earlier, the Ward 5 party leader, Hon Amezhi Oseja thanked the chairman and stakeholders for the visit.
Oseja vowed to deliver the Ward totally to APC come 2023, added that the Chairman’s doggedness and political sagacity has spurred him to action, promising that more persons will soon be received by the party chairman.
“On behalf of myself and entire members of APC, Ward 5, i thank the LGA Party Chairman for visiting us amidst his tight schedule.
“The number of persons you have received today will be like an iceberg the next time you will visit us. Your doggedness and political sagacity has challenged me.”
In a related development, Hon Salvation Ezegwogwo also berthed at Ward 9 headquarters, Ogbele community for a Traditional Marriage Ceremony, where he charged the couple to mutually respect each other.
He admonished them to eschew bitterness and avoidable bickering, but to show love and understanding to each other.
