2 min readA philanthropist and Ekpeye ethnic monarch, Eze Salvation Ezegwogwo has hinted that the only panecea to the unrest in Nigeria is a total trust in God.
King Ezegwogwo gave the hint during a media chat in Port Harcourt, where he enjoined Nigerians to be their brothers’ keeper as enshrined in Holy Books.
The newly conferred Ekpeye monarch challenged worshippers of God to show in any of the divine scriptures where God in His Mightiness discriminated against a faithful servant nor abandoned a true believer.
He posited that it is by having an abiding faith and trust in God will the country experience total peace as the time of King Solomon.
The Ekpeye monarch said; “I call on Nigerians, especially the christian faithfuls to have total trust in God Almighty. Only Him can give the country the needed peace.
“God Almighty has never failed nor deceived any human that put trust in Him. He alone can bring about the desired lasting peace in the country.
“He said in the Bible that: ‘He is not a man to lie, nor a son of man to change’. That is to tell us that He remains the same from ages to ages.”
King Ezegwogwo again advised the youths to be focused in pursuing their livelihood and enterprise.
He urged them to shun anything act or actions that will expose them to public ridicule, reminding the youths that a good name is better than riches.
He said; ” a good name is better than riches, so refrain from acts or actions that will make people look down on you.
“Be focused on whatever legitimate businesses you get engaged in. There’s dignity in labour.”
The business mogul reminded christians that Easter is the cardinal reason of being a believer and follower of Christ, expatiating that accepting the death of Christ on the Calvary and working the talk is what makes every faithful a true worshipper and believer.
