Monarch Promises to Engender Development in Domain

Monarch of Igbu Akoh Kingdom in Ekpeye ethnic nation, Rivers State, His Majesty Eze Cassidy Ikegbidi, has promised to work assiduously to ensure peace and development in his kingdom.
The king made the promise when the leadership and members of Ihugbogo Community in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State, paid him a solidarity visit over his recognition and certification by the government of the State.
Eze Cassidy, who appreciates the community for honouring him, promised to gradually and holistically attend to their demands.
The monarch, who advised members of the community to work in unity, also tasked the youths to eschew violence and other vices in order to engender development.
Earlier, the General Secretary of Ihugbogo Community, who spoke on behalf of the paramount ruler, said the visit was to congratulate and celebrate with the king on his recognition by the Governor Wike- led administration which has brought to an end the power tussle for the Igbu Akoh stool following the death of the previous king.
Thanking Eze Cassidy for the numerous developmental projects he had brought to the community, he appealed to the monarch to look into ways to create job opportunities for the youths of the community as a host to multinational oil companies like TotalElf and the Nigerian Liquified Natural Gas (NLGN).
The community also used the occasion to plead with the king to use his office to prevail on the governor of the State to complete the primary school project awarded during the previous administration.
Decrying the level of disunity amongst the women of community, the secretary also pleaded with the king to wade into the matter with a view to resolving the areas of disagreement so as to move the community forward.
