Energy Group Holds Independence Anniversary Summit . . . Features Petroleum Minister, Others As Speakers

The International Energy Health Safety and Environment (IEHSE) is set to hold a summit in commemoration of Nigeria’s 60th independence anniversary.
The theme of the the summit, “Collaborating for an Energy Safe Nigeria” is expected to hold virtually from 12noon to 3pm West Africa Time, on the 7th and 8th of October 2020.
The statement said , the Honourable Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva and other notable personalities would feature as speakers and panelists in the event.
The statement read, “The IEHSE virtual summit 2020 seeks to foster meaningful collaborations amongst all key players and stakeholders across the entire energy value chain with a view to upscaling performance in Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Quality Social Responsibility (HSSEQSR) management.”
Mr James Ashokeji, MD of IEHSE Limited, organisers of the programme, also stated that the summit will provide a platform for stakeholders to share best practices, progressive approaches and innovative applications that will enhance HSSEQSR performance.”
Organisers further revealed that the programme, which is open to the public would provide participants with the benefit of leveraging on the expert knowledge, experience and insights of key players in the oil and gas industry.
