King Ezegwogwo gave the charge while chatting with some Correspondents on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Port Harcourt International Airport, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The oil magnate noted that if the elite and politicians are able to share what they have with their people, the majority of Nigerians would have food to eat in this season of celebration.
He stressed that as Christians, the privileged ones have every reason to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ by showing love through charitable acts of sharing with the less privileged God’s abundance in their life.
The erstwhile politician urged the Youth to desist from acts that would lead them to criminalities, hinting that the hardship faced by the citizenry would soon be a history.
His words; “As Christians, we have every reason to celebrate. Let the celebration not be on lip service but on love through charitable acts of sharing to the less privileged in the society. Those, Elite and politicians, blessed by God Almighty must as a responsibility, share with those that do not have.
“Everybody cannot get the same time. So, those that have should carry others along.”
The former Ahoada East Local Government Area chapter chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, called on the people to use the season to look back and appreciate God’s faithfulness in their lives as individuals in order to worship Him the more.
