A royal father in Rivers State has charged Christians to show love and be more charitable in this Christmas season.
The royal father, Eze Prince Ike Ehie JP, Eze Igbu Orlukwor II, Eze Ehie II, in Ekpeye Ethnic Nation, gave the charge while chatting with some newshounds on the characteristics of the yuletide season.
He added that since the season represents the birth date of Christ, who is love personalized, Christians are bound to emulate the virtue.
He opined that since all fingers are not equal and created by God Almighty, that nothing is naturally wrong for the ‘haves’ to share with the ‘have nots’, and that it ought not to be the rich giving back to just the rich alone.
The king, who called on recalcitrant youths to key into the season and turn a new leaf, as exemplified by the humble act of the prodigal son of the rich man, also called on parents to always remember the biblical story of Prophet Eli and his family.
In the same vein, the Igbu Orlukwor Monarch has eulogised the Rivers State Governor, His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara on his developmental doggedness even in the face of mounting distractions by political opponents.
Eze Ehie thanked him for the commissioning of the ultra modern girls school in Ahoada Town and his promises to grant all requests made by His Imperial Majesty, Eze Amb Sir Kelvin Ngozi Anugwo JP, Ph.D, Eze Ekpeye Logbo III.
He further extended his salute to his son and Chief of Staff to Government House, Rt. Hon. Edison Ehie Esq for his steadfastness and loyalty to stand by the governor at all times.
He wished members of Uzugbani Igbu Orlukwor, and Orlukwor people a happy Christmas celebration.
