AHOADA EAST LGA ELECTION: Our 5-Point Agenda Will Develop Our Area – APGA Chairmanship Candidate

The Chairmanship Candidate for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Ahoada East Local Government Area, Newton Gordon Kpasa, has assured the people that his team’s 5-point- agenda would bring development to the area if he is elected.
Kpasa gave the assurance while winding up his campaign in Wards l, ll, lll & lV, hinting that the LGA has every potential to be great and developed, but is hampered by maladministration, self-aggrandizement and total neglect of the people.
He listed the 5-point agenda of his Rescue Mission Team as; Revival of agricultural programmes, Empowerment packages/Skills Acquisition, Construction of modern Trailer Park with an International Market, Annual payment of Students Bursary and Rural Electrification projects.
The APGA Chairmanship Candidate further revealed that, outside his Team’s 5-Points Agenda, they would hold regular town hall meetings for an easy flow of communication and understanding, he wondered why an incumbent who has not done any notable project with the excuse of getting monthly zero allocation, would vie for second term.
He called on the people to vote out maladministration, lack of dividends of democracy, selfish governance and a government that can not protect lives and property of the people as characterized by the present PDP led government in the area.
Kpasa assured the people that with APGA government in power, they would positively feel the impact of governance.
In her speech, the Deputy Chairmanship Candidate, Upadhi Nnamdi Eferegbo promised that the 35% Women Affirmative Action will be effected under her watch, adding that the days of Ekpeye women lagging behind politically is coming to an end.
She further stated that widows and the girl-child challenges will be tackled head on, unlike what is happening now, according to her.
Ishikaku Chigbo, Ward ll Councilor’s candidate promised to curb insecurity and end the perennial flooding in the area by constructing a good drainage network.
The Rescue Mission Team as headed by Newton Gordon Kpasa was traditionally blessed by the Igbu Ogbor monarch, His Royal Highness, Eze Maxwell China, Eze Emene Ogbor.
