Akeredolu Will Win With Wide Margin – Hon Kehinde
2 min readA Councillor representing Ward 2 in Ijare in Ifedore Local Government Council of Ondo State, Hon. Kehinde Oluwajano Isaac, says the incumbent governor and Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Governorship Election in the state would win his opponents with wide margin.
Hon Kehinde made the assertion on Thursday, October 8, 2020 while fielding questions from newsmen at his residence.
According to him, the people of the state have experienced unprecedented development under the administration of Governor Akeredolu, and would want him to continue, so they would reciprocate by voting for the governor for a second term.
He said the large turnout of people all over the State during the governor’s campaign tours attested to his popularity and acceptability in the State.
Kehinde said, “Without infrastructure, the people would not have come out. The Governor has done a lot for the people and they will appreciate by showing their support.”
The Councillor, who denied reports that Akeredolu was owing some months salaries of some categories of workers, stated that a backlog of unpaid salaries owed by previous administration were cleared by the governor when he assumed office.
He also expressed optimism that the election would be peaceful, saying that Ondo people are peace loving and would not be engaged in actions that would trigger violence because of the election.
“If it goes the other way, the Governor is a peace loving man. The people are peace loving, so there will be no riot,” he stated.
