EOG Members Receive Ekpeye Festival Largesse . . . Chairman Eulogizes TSSL, PINL for Stemming Illicit Petroleum Activities

by Ajilo Innocent Members of a non governmental organization, Ekpeye Oil and Gas Pipelines Host Families Association, EOG were elated as they received largesse of meat and cash for the OGWU Ekpeye (New Yam) Festival celebration for the year 2024.
Speaking to newsmen during the event, Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Tropicana Hotels in Ahoada Town, the National Chairman of EOG, Comrade Chidi Dogini said the little token doled out to members signals great things that are about to happen in Ekpeye Lan.
He said; “This is the medium I want to use to appreciate all the faithful and committed members of Ekpeye Oil and Gas (EOG), who stood by me all these years, steadfastness and loyalty should be encouraged.”
Dogini asserted that the height of achievement by the group is due to members enthusiasm to change the narrative in Ekpeye Ethnic Nationality, where gross unemployment, acute under-development and under-utilization of human capital is blazingly showcased by the International Oil Companies, IOCs.
The Oil and Gas Activist used the opportunity to thank the Federal Government for yielding to the Niger Delta request for Pipeline Surveillance which Ekpeye Oil and Gas (EOG) are amongst the major advocates.
Comrade Dogini eulogized Tantitta Security Services Limited and Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited for stemming the tides of illicit petroleum activities in the Niger Delta.
The EOG Boss appealed to members of Ekpeye Oil and Gas (EOG) to report every issue that has to deal with pipeline sabotage to the relevant authorities for swift response.
He stated that over the years, members have demonstrated their willingness through collective and individual sacrifices borne out of their genuine eagerness to discard the old order and reposition things for the general benefits of Ekpeye Ethnic Nation.
The EOG helmsman urged members to continue believing in a possible better ethnic nation, averred that all things are possible where there is unity of purpose.
He thanked members and charged them not to sell their commitments for a porridge yam, when the beam of light at the end of the tunnel is already visible.
He cautioned EOG members against living contrary to the tenets of the season, where peace, love and oneness should always be exhibited.
He made it clear that, the Ogwu Ekpeye (New Yam) Festival celebration signifies love, unity, progress, oneness, and above all, it is the season of purity, where several prayers are made to the Almighty, to cleanse them from all blemishes.
Dogini, who extended his appreciation to the Ekpeye Supreme monarch, His Imperial Majesty, Eze Amb. Kelvin Ngozi Anugwo, JP, Ph.D, Eze Ekpeye Logbo III, Akalaka XII, for giving EOG the necessary support.
