by Harmony Nwosu The Igbu Orlukwor Kingdom monarch, His Royal Highness, Eze Ike Ehie JP, Eze Igbu Orlukwor II, has expressed gratitude to God for his successful coronation.
He appreciated the Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara for the peace and speedy development witnessed in the state so far.
The Monarch, who also extolled the immense contributions of the Chief of Staff, Government House, Rt Hon Edison Ehie, Eze Amb. Kelvin Ngozi Anugwo Ph.D, JP, Eze Ekpeye Logbo III, Akalaka XII, Eze Cassidy W. O. Ikegbidi JP, Eze Igbo Akoh II, Hon. Salvation Ezegwogwo JP, CEO/MD Gudlinks Group of Companies, High Chief Mathias M. Ogbugo, Chairman, Orlukwor Council of Traditional Rulers & Chiefs and Chief Ngozi S. Otuogwu, Chairman, Orlukwor Ezes In-Council.
Others he specially acknowledged were; Chief Orisa Ekpete, Chairman, Coronation Planning Committee and his members, Dr. Arch. Chris Enwudor, PG Uzugbani Igbu Orlukwor & his members, Hon. Noble Ejima, Chairman, Orlukwor Eleco & his Team, other influential sons and daughters, groups, governmental agencies, NGOs, Security Agencies and especially, the people of Igbu Orlukwor, to the success of his coronation on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
According to a press release e-signed by the Head, Information & Documentation of the Eze Igbu Orlukwor Kingdom Palace, Oyagiri Chime-emele and made available to journalists also stated that; “The King called for the support of the people, and enjoined them to eschew any form of bitterness that would put a spanner in the wheel of progress of the clan.”
The statement further assured the people and public of the King’s open door policy and prompt attendance to issues that would engender unity, peaceful coexistence and development.
The royal father in the release reiterated his stand on zero tolerance for crime and criminality and called on all to embrace peace and responsible living.
He urged the security agencies to always apply proactive mode of operation in order to effectively dismantle plans of criminals.
