ZONE 16 ZPPRO DEPLOYMENT: Lafieghie Out, Ewhoborwo In

A new Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, ZPPRO, has been posted to the Zone 16 Police Headquarters, Yenagoa.
The new ZPPRO, SP Gunn Ewhoborwo replaces CSP Ikwo Kevin Lafieghie, who has been redeployed to Rivers State command.

2ic Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, on behalf of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 16 headquarters, Yenagoa, stated that the new ZPRO is from Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
It reads: “Sequel to the redeployment of the Pioneer Police Public Relations Officer of the Zone, CSP Ikwo Kevin Lafieghe, to Rivers State Command, the Inspector General of Police has appointed SP Gunn Ewhoborwo as the new PRO, Zone 16 headquarters yenagoa.
“The New Police Public Relations Officer is a native of Anibeze in Sagbama Local government Area of Bayelsa State.
“He was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet ASP on 20th January, 2014 and he has a Masters Degree in Intelligence and Security Studies.
“Until his current posting, he was attached to the Zonal Intelligence Department as a Senior Crime Detective.
The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 16, AIG Paul Alifa Omata wishes the outgoing ZPRO well as she proceeds to her new command.”
The release further stated that the outgoing ZPRO solicits the cooperation and support of members of the public, especially members of the 4th Estate of the realm to enable the incoming ZPRO succeed in the discharge of his duties..
