POLICE RECRUITMENT: Zone 16 to Commence Medical Screening On April 16 – 30 . . . AIG Warns Candidates To Be Wary Of Fraudsters

The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 16, Yenagoa, AIG Paul Alifa Omata, has notified members of the public that the medical screening for successful candidates of the computer based test (CBT) for General Duty cadre, and practical tests for the specialist cadre is to commence on the 16th of April,2014.
A press release signed on behalf of the AIG by the command’s Public Relations Officer, ZPPRO, CSP Ikwo Kevin Lafieghe, stated that the exercise is especially for indigenes of Bayelsa and Rivers states, and would take place on Tuesday, April 16 to Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
The ZPPRO further stated that the venue will be Police Clinic, Yenagoa for Medical Screening and Zone 16 Headquarters, Yenagoa, for practical tests respectively, from 8:30am – 2:45pm daily on the stipulated days.
Lafieghe said the AIG warned candidates not to pay for the exercise and wished them success and journey mercies.
The release reads: “This is to bring to the notice of the Public, especially the indigenes of Bayelsa and Rivers States, that the medical screening for candidates who sat for and passed the computer based test (CBT) for General Duty cadre, and the practical tests for the specialist cadre shall hold concurrently as follows:
DATE: 16th to 30th April, 2024.
TIME: 8:30 am to 2:45pm daily.
VENUE: Police Clinic, Yenagoa for Medical Screening and Zone 16 Hqtrs, Yenagoa, for practical tests.
“The Police high command warns that the exercise is absolutely free; devoid of any pecuniary inducement and as such, candidates are advised against playing into the hands of fraudsters or their agents.
“Furthermore, all candidates are to turn up in their clean white T-shirts, shorts and canvass, armed with their Letters of Invitation, National Identity card/slip, and Medical examination slip print out for the exercise.
“For further enquiries and information on their scheduled date and time, they are to log on to the recruitment portal at https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng.
