The Bayelsa State Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Council Scribe, Comrade Ogio Ipigiansi, has dedicated his son, Jedidiah to God.
The dedication which took place at the Throne of Mercy Ministry ,AKA Solution Ground, Opolo, Yenagoa, on Sunday, October 1, saw journalists, family members and friends turn out in their numbers to grace the occasion.
The Council Scribe, while giving his testimony, thanked God Almighty for His faithfulness, adding that from conception to delivery, there were no complications.
He narrated how he had agreed with the wife to ‘hang boot’, only for them to be told by the Woman of God (WoG) that more children were following the wife, which according to him, manifested.
Ipigiansi further thanked the WoG for her unrelenting prayers and care, noting that the church was always with them in prayers, which translated to the peaceful conception of the delivery process.
He urged the people to always look onto God in all situations, and also believe in positive prophecies as revealed by God.
The God’s Minister and General Overseer of the church, Mama Peace, while dedicating the baby, charged the couple to raise him in the fear of God, warning that God would hold them responsible if they do otherwise.
The first bible reading was taken from the book of Mark 1:1-8. While the sermon was from Corinthians 1:15 and Jeremiah 1:5.
Highlights of the service were melodious praise and worship to God’s glory, special offering for the baby and gifting of the WoG, as it is the church dogma every first Sunday of a new month.
