NNPC : APC Group Applauds Tombomieye’s Appointment

The South-South National Deputy Youth Mobilization Officer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Movement 2023, Hon. Ebitimi Jones, has applauded the new appointment of Hon. Adokiye Tombomieye as the Executive Vice President (Upstream).

The appointment is said to be part of the ongoing reforms aimed at repositioning the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPCL) to effectively compete globally.

Tombomieye was the Group Executive Director, Upstream until the latest structural appointments.

In a statement issued in Abuja, and signed by Hon. Ebitimi Jones, described the VP Upstream as a competent technocrat, whose contributions and engagements on reforms of the oil and gas industry has yielded great goals for the country.

Jones, who noted that the appointment was most timely, urged stakeholders in the region to avail him more support and co-operation as he engages on more onerous tasks in moving the sector to greater height.

He noted that the appointment is an opportunity to explore more in the oil and gas industry, stressing that to whom much is giving much more is expected.

The APC chieftain also commended him for his charitable disposition of always rendering all forms of assistance to sons and daughters of the Niger Delta especially and citizens of the country through his good office.

Jones also used the opportunity to extend his heartfelt condolences to the family of the Tombomieye’s on the shock news of their mother’s demise.

He prays that God will surely grant him the fortitude to bear the lost.
