International Girl Child Day: People’s Views

In recognition of the International Day of the Girl Child, Bochnews Correspondent, Oyagiri Chime-emele held an online Vox Pop where different persons aired out their views.

While some interviewees expressed committed concerns, others blamed the Girl Child for their indecent dressings and bad manners.

Parents Should Educate their Daughters About Sex- Igwe Favour Ihuoma

I think, parents should educate their female children about sex. Tell the advantages and disadvantages of it,
so that they can be aware of what is happening and know how to protect or prevent their selves from being raped.

Sex education is the key.
But, girls too are supposed to dress properly at home and outside their homes
Men are moved by what they see.

The Girl Child should be protected by the Society. Especially, by the Government, Traditional Rulers, and the Church leaders.

The Parents should be the first point of Protection, HOME.
