KANO: Gov’t To Gift NULGE N11m Worth Of 18 Seater Bus

The Kano state government has approved the sum of over N11m for the purchase of 18 seater hummer bus to the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) in the state.
The state commissioner For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Lamin Zawiyya made the revelation during an award presentation ceremony held at Dessert Hotel, Kano.
Zawiyya, who said the provision of the vehicles followed a request by the union to ease their daily mobility, maintained that the state government will not be reluctant in ensuring the improvement of the welfare of its populace and carry all unions along for speedy development.
The commissioner who represented the state deputy governor, pledged to continue where his predecessor stopped for the betterment and progress of the state.
In his speech, the National President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Comrade Ambali Olatunji commended the efforts of the state branch of the union in handling issues with government amicably.
Kano state president of the Union, Comrade Abdullahi Gwarzo commended the efforts of the state governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for considering and addressing the demands of the union whenever its arises.
