Zamfara APC Refutes Claims Of Losing Thousands Of Members

by Our Correspondent The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as rebutted claims that its members have decamped to the opposition PDP in droves.
In a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Gusau, on Saturday, July 16th, in Gusau, the party frowned at the fraudulent manner some of its erstwhile members moved to the opposition PDP, using lies of crossing over with thousands of followers when in fact, they defected alone to the PDP flagbearer.
It further stated that the party has never been moved by their decision to defect even as they failed to formally tender their resignation letters, describing their move as undemocratic and self aggrandizement.
Gusau said in the statement that their individual and collective loyalists have remained in the APC, wondering why they made claim of thousands of followers defecting with them.
The statement further hinted that their leaving is a blessing in disguise, since it has continued to receive and welcome more decampees, which made it ahead of other political parties.
