Ogugu who made the promise after picking his intent and nomination forms, Thursday, May 5th at the APC state Secretariat, added that the era of ‘carry go’ is gone.

The aspirant whose campaign slogan is; ‘a different direction’, said: “I want to bring the deserved change. My people are educationally backward. We lack infrastructural development. My people are poor.

“These are the things that motivate me to answer the clarion call of my people to represent them. I will change the narrative. My people must be redeemed.”

On what he would be bringing onboard that would make a difference, he said; “I will support and encourage my people to go into massive and industrial farming.

“Human capital development is another area that i will touch to elevate the status of my people from the present poor state. The less privileged will be touched.”

Asked how he intended to dislodge an incumbent, he asserted that the electoral law had greatly taken care of the possibility of rigging, adding that victory in elections would be more determined by the candidate’s popularity in his constituency.

Two of his supporters, Rachael Ebiaboere and Comr Krotimi Gagede, who also spoke to the media, said the aspirant is a grassroot politician that truly knows what the people desire.

They assured that if the aspirant gets the party ticket, he would be victorious based on his political pedigree and antecedents.
