EASTER: Obuebite Sues For Peaceful Co-existence

Technical Adviser on Investment to the Bayelsa State Governor, Hon. Dr Jonathan Obuebite, has advised Bayelsans to love one another and live in peace in order to engender development.
The former commissioner made the call on Sunday, April 17th at Sampou, the country home of the Bayelsa governor.
Dr Obuebite, who advised politicians to play by the rules, stated that the only way to live in peace was to love and tolerate one another.
He enjoined party faithfuls to acknowledge that God chooses who becomes a leader and they should support whoever emerges to ensure successful electoral outcomes.
According to him, the essence of politics is to select who should lead, adding that, that can only be achieved when the people are alive and work together in peace and harmony.
In his words, “Now that we are in a political period, we should play by the rules and let there be greater love amongst our people.
“I want to appeal to all politicians that the essence of politics is to select persons that will lead. And, it is only when we are together and all alive that we can do that.
“Let us embrace peace in all we do and play by the rules. Power comes from God. Let us embrace the supremacy in the fact that power indeed comes from God. That should guide our actions.
The PDP Chieftain urged the people to accept whoever God chooses at the end of the elections.
He said; “Whoever God appoints at this time, we should support him or her and work together to see that our state and nation succeeds.
“With love we will have the ability to tolerate one another and live together in peace.
“My message is wishing Bayelsans love, peace and oneness.
“I join His Excellency to wish the good people of Bayelsa a happy Easter celebration. I also use this day to wish the people of Brass/ Nembe Federal Constituency and Nigerians, a glorious Easter celebration.
Christ has come to save and the christian community will live in peace and Nigeria will also live in peace.
