SEXUAL MOLESTATION: Human Rights Activist Docked For Assaulting An 8Year Old Girl

A Pastor and Human Rights Activist, simply identified as Jude was charged to court for child sexual assault on a 8 year old minor in Portharcourt, Rivers State.
The suspect who was a member of Behind Bar Initiative (BBI), an advocacy group against sexual abuse and a human rights crusader, was remanded in Port Harcourt Correctional Facility, Thursday, April 14th.
A press release by the Director General of the Behind Bar Initiative (BBI), Harrison Gwamnishu gave a graphic details of how Pastor Jude carried her (victim) on his lap and fingered her.
It further stated that the advocacy group received the complaint and moved for the suspect’s arrest.
The press release stated: “We received the complaint and quickly ordered his arrest. He was arrested and handed over to the Police for a thorough and unbiased investigation.”
Gwamnishu further hinted that Medical report proved the child’s vigina was ruptured but hymen still intact.
According to the release; “The police concluded their investigation and he has been charged to a competent court of jurisdiction.”
He stated that Pastor Jude has been remanded in prison custody and the case adjourned to Thursday, April 21st, 2022 for a hearing.
The human rights advocate who thanked the Police Command for its steadfastness in the case, advised parents to be more conscious of those relating with their children, especially the girl-child.
“We wish to appreciate the Nigeria Police for refusing to grant bail despite the pressure from some highly individuals.
“We appeal to parents to be watchful as anyone paedophile is nearby.”
The DG of BBI warned members of the initiative that as an organization in forefront of advocacy to end all form of social vices, the group will never hide its own, irrespective of the pressure from high places.
