The Women Wing of Amaechi Grassroot Network, has called on the wife of the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi to prevail on her husband to contest for the Nigeria Presidency come 2023.
Chatting with newsmen during this year’s International Women Day celebration, the group’s National Administrator, Mrs Helen Dimkpa opined that Amaechi is the solution to the challenges facing the nation.
When challenged on the choice of Amaechi amongst seeming more qualified options, Mrs Dimkpa hinted that the Transportation Minister’s political pedigree on turning around near lost situations to something fruitful and acceptable, is the major reason the Nigerian women crave for him.
In her words: “The man Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is the solution to the myriad of challenges facing the nation today. With his political sagacity, divine grace and uncommon wisdom, he can turn things around within a short period.
“He is more or less a wonder man. Nothing is impossible before him when it has to do with governance. Above all, he has the milk of kindness.
She described Amaechi as a leader filled with divine grace, uncommon wisdom and political sagacity, that will turn things for better if brought to bear on the Nigerian system.
She listed the hitherto moribund rail system, non revenue yielding NIMASA, under utilized Seaports as some of the places the Minister for Transportation has left his footprint on the sand of history.
The Women Leader expatiating on his divine grace and political sagacity said: “Amaechi would not be heard today if not for divine grace and his political sagacity. When to humans eyes and understanding, the conspiracy was seen as sealed and done, God struck. And His wish prevailed.
“At the National Assembly, it was same thing during his screening as a Minister nominee. I can reel out unending.
“During his reign as the governor of Rivers State. His infrastructural development is still out to speak for him. The State scholarship and overseas training. His human capital development drive was next to none in the history of the State. Not like what we are witnessing today”.
Mrs Dimkpa challenged the Minister’s wife,Mrs Judith Amaechi that her reluctance to lend her voice to the clarion call will mean much disservice to mothers especially and the nation.
