The Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri has promised to complete all ongoing projects before the end of his tenure.

Governor Diri made the promise at the 2021 Easter Cantata held at the Glory Land Chapel, Government House, Yenagoa.

Sen. Diri assured that; “Every job we have started, we have no doubt in our minds that it would be completed.

“The roads from Yenagoa to Oporoma, that bridge that costs billions will be completed. AIT/Igbogene will be completed. We will continue with the urban renewal in Yenagoa and make it a capital City indeed.”

Governor Diri hinted that apart from infrastructural development, his administration has lined up series of empowerment programmes for the people of the State.

The Prosperity governor advised all to key in to his administration’s policies and programmes, adding that putting all trust in God will enable Bayelsans to experience prosperity.

According to the governor; “The only thing to do to bring out the blessings of God is to put your hand in something. By doing something, the Lord who brought the message of prosperity will prosper you.”

“I and my deputy have agreed that our administration would be about reconciliation. I urge all to forgive their offenders to also have forgiveness from God.”

Apostle Zilly Aggrey of the Royal House of Grace, had earlier admonished congregants to forgive one another in order to experience the blessings of God.

Apostle Aggrey also said the Prosperity administration was the handiwork of God because the Governor had faith in the Lord and urged the people to draw closer to God for Him to intervene in their affairs.

He said the state is at peace because God is in charge of governance due to the Governor’s dedication to Him.
