Ondo Police Recovers Stolen Baby … Arrests Suspect

The Ondo State Police Command, has recovered a three – month- old baby allegedly stolen from her mother’s shop by an apprentice.

The state Police Commissioner, Salami Bolaji, in a statement, said the baby was recovered due to an aggressive manhunt by his men to ensure that the baby was brought back unhurt in record time.
According to Bolaji, he ordered his men to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance of the baby, said to have been stolen by an apprentice in tailoring.

The Police boss, commended his men for the prompt response that led to recovering the baby unhurt .

While assuring Ondo residents of the police preparedness to secure lives and property, Bolaji advised Nigerians to always give useful information to the police to enable the force fight combat crime swiftly.

Meanwhile, the suspect, a middle aged female, identified as Bosede Adeniyi , has been arrested by the police.
A report by ait.live says the lady allegedly disappeared with the baby on the 2nd of January,2021 when she took her to withdraw money from an ATM, but did not return.
A manhunt by the police led to her arrest in Ondo town on Tuesday and the case has been transferred to the SIB in Akure.
