EOG National Chairman Commiserates With Late Attah Oboh’s Family

RIVERS STATE: The National Chairman of Ekpeye Oil and Gas Pipelines Host Families Association, Comr Chidi Dogini, joined relatives and sympathisers to commiserate with the family of late Chief Emmanuel Attah Oboh.

Dogini said, death which is a necessary end for all mortals should be taken with an open mind , adding that, ‘God gives and He takes’.

He prayed that God who authors every human step should give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

The EOG headman, enjoined the family to live harmoniously, adding that the death of their patriarch should serve as a unifying factor than otherwise.

Dogini specially called on one of his colleagues, the National Task Force chairman of EOG, Odhuluma Igbegiri to emulate the footsteps of his late uncle.

Late Chief Emmanuel Attah Oboh was a devout christian – Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Obrikom.

A trained welder who carried out different construction work in several sectors.

The experience garnered enabled him to establish his own construction company which also executed landmark construction projects like the iron roofing works at the Alfred, Diete – Spiff Civic Center,Port Harcourt, laying of welded pipes along the Ebocha Axis of pipelines owned by Nigerian Agip Company Limited, amongst others.
Haven trained numerous welders from his community and beyond, late Oboh retired from the board of the company in the year 2000.

Due to his contributions to the development of society and members of his family, he was made a family chief titled Eze-Osioma.

He died at the ripe, leaving two wives, children, grandchildren and many relatives behind.

Amongst dignitaries present were the former governor of Rivers State and Minister for Transportation, Rt Hon Chibueke Rotimi Amaechi, the Executive Assistant to the Governor of Bayelsa State on Public Affairs and Social Orientation, Barr. George Alabh Turnah, etc.
