Eze Igbu Ayah Laid To Rest . . . Friends Promise To Assist Family

Friends of late King Messiah Okpagi, alias Eze Igbu Ayah, have promised to assist the deceased family in any possible way to ease the burden occasioned by their member’s demise.

The Committee of Friends made the vow when they paid the widow a condolence visit after the interment of the deceased.

While presenting a token to the deceased wife, the Chairman of the club, Godstime Obile extolled the virtues of the late Okpagi, adding that he would have done same if it was the other way around.

He prayed that God Almighty whose decision is final would continue to strengthen and comfort the family for the irreparable loss.

Obile urged the widow to take members of the club as part of the family, saying that she should feel free to share her challenges with them.

Earlier in his speech, Ifeanyi Innocent Ene, the club elder, said the members of the club were there to pay their last respect to their departed member as custom demanded.

Ene appealed to members to always extend their hands of fellowship to the family of late King Messiah Okpagi as expected, adding that only God knows why it happened when his wealth of knowledge and experience were most needed.

Late King Messiah Okpagi died on May 11, 2020 after a brief illness. He was 51years old and a member of Salvation Ministries, Odiemerenyi Satellite Church, Odiemerenyi community in Ahoada East local government area, Rivers State.

He is survived by a wife, five daughters and two sons.
