Be Magnanimous In Victory, Alayede Advises Gov. Akeredolu

Her Royal Highness, Oba Catherine Bukola Akinyede, Regent Alayede of Ayede Ogbese Kingdom has called on the newly re-elected governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu to be magnanimous in victory for a quicker development of the State.
Regent Oba Akinyede, who gave the advice in her palace through the Ayede In-Council’s Chief scribe, High Chief Adanja, added that after the election what follows is governance and that can only be achieved in atmosphere of peace and unity .
She further called on those who lost in the election to see it as a contest that somebody must emerge a winner.
The Regent enjoined the people to continue building on the peace witnessed during the election, adding that there can not be a meaningful development in a rancorous environment.
“I call on the people to build on the peace we initiated before the election. It paid. No development can take place when we fight ourselves,” he advised
She scored INEC, the security agencies and media high in their respective duties, urging them to keep it up.
