Finally, Governor Diri submits 24 Commissioner Nominees For Screening

Almost six months after assuming office, Governor of Bayelsa state, Senator Douye Diri has submitted a list of 24 persons as commissioner nominees to the Bayelsa state House of Assembly for screening.
In a letter which was read on the floor of the House by the Clerk, the list indicated that the nominees cut across the 8 Local Government Areas in the state.
The nominees are, Miss Preye Boderick, Mr Esau Andrew and Dr Ibiene Jones from Brass Local Government Area, while, Chief Thompson Amule , Miss Grace Ikiotenne and Mr Stanley Braboke from Ekeremor LGA, also made the list.
Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA nominees are, Surv. Moses Teibowei and Hon. Hon Iselema Gbaranbiri
Nominees from Nembe LGA are, Chief David Alagoa, Mr Dambo Birigha SAN and Dr. Iti Orugbani.
The nominees from Ogbia axis are Dr. Promise Ekio, Mr Otokito O. Federal and Miss Faith Orubo Opuene.
Others are Mr Obosi B. Churson, Mr Sinkumo Ekisah, Mr Maxwell Ebibai from Sagbama LGA, while
Southern Ijaw has Engr Ampoebide Alamieyeseigha, Mr Rex Flint George,Hon. Baraladei Daniel Igali and Mr Ebitein Tonyon.
The nominees for from Yenagoa LGA are , Dr. Igwele Pabara Newton, Mr Ayebaina Dubai
and Hon. Gentle Emelah
