A new head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,Port Harcourt Zonal Office in Rivers State, has assumed duties
The new officer, Mr. Abdulkarim Chukkol , formally took over the reins of leadership from Mr. Babashani Umar Sanda, Deputy Zonal Head, at a brief ceremony on Thursday, August 13, 2020.
Mr. Chukkol succeeds Mr. Usman Imam as the 10th Zonal Head of the EFCC in Port Harcourt.
He is a member of the EFCC Cadet Course 1, the new Zonal Head is a Fellow of the Nigerian Army War College and graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy, Quantico, USA, and the Korea National Police University.
He is a consummate cyber crime investigator with record of participation in landmark cyber crime operations in the EFCC, including Cyberstorm 1.
Before his new appointment, Chukkol had served as Head of EFCC Zonal Office, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State; Head of Cyber Crime and Advance Fee Fraud in EFCC Headquarters, Abuja and Lagos Zonal Office respective
