The people of Okoroma/Tereke never doubted your great visions and development oriented leadership in changing the landscape of our state.
With this feat and many more to come, the state will be boosted and fast-paced in the socio-economic and human capacity development and also create employment opportunities to the teaming unemployed youths of Niger Delta, Bayelsa state, Nembe LGA, Okoroma/Tereke Development Area and Nigeria in general.
The people of Okoroma/Tereke as one of the oil producing Communities/area that have hosted Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC/ENI) for close to 50 years are yearning for development as our source of livelihoods has been damaged by the explorative and exploitative activities of the oil company operating in the area.
The area is cut off from the rest of the state as indigenes can only access the its neighbor LGA, Ogbia by water, while the hydra-headed monster of sea pirates keep troubling the people daily leading to lose of lives and properties even as a well mapped out and cleared road project since the time of late chief Melford Okilo of blessed memory has been in place from one successive administration to another without proper attention and political will to carry out the project not minding the area’s immense contribution to the economy of the Multi-national Oil Company, country and Bayelsa state.
The people solicits your good offices and administrative acumen to give attention to this all important road project to give the people a sense of belonging.
